Fondant flowers

Fondant and royal icing wedding cakes still remain a favourite.  Current styles tend to be simpler and have a clean look with feature flowers.  This cake uses a simple one colour fondant rose that links with the bridal colours to create a contemporary wedding cake.

Fresh Fruit Danish

Due to demand from our customers, Clinton is now producing a range of boutique danish pastries for the Saturday morning Parnell Farmers Market.

The point of difference with Marron & Dolce danish is our use of real ingredients and hand-made pastry.  We only use real butter - and that is what makes all the difference to a real crispy flaky danish.  We like to use interesting and seasonal fruits on the fresh fruit danish, so far flavours have included rhubard & elderberry, damson & apple, pear, strawberry, plum (a favourite with our customers), peach, traditional apricot, feijoa & apple, cinnamon spiced apple and quince.

Whenever possible we use the fruit from our own orchard - this seasons plums and peaches and damsons have been a favourite.

Pain au chocolate (with Clintons hand-made 70% chocolate stick insertions) and almond danish are on the menu also.

New Marquee

We've now got a custom-designed marquee at the Parnell Farmers Market.  We have included images of our products on the marquee to ensure everyone knows what we are selling at the market.  This may seem odd but we have found that because we keep all our products in perspex covered boxes for health reasons people often didn't realise what we were selling.  Hopefully the crisp new marquee will draw in even more customers - keep an eye out for us and call in!
